First Call Summer Camp Information
|
|
First Call Camp is for those young men who will be entering into grades 10 and up in the fall. Those who have recently started college are welcome to attend this camp also; there will be a special small group for you. We will begin with registration at 3:00 PM on Sunday. After you are settled into your room we will have a joint Mass for you and all your family members if they are able to attend. After Mass your family is welcome to stay for a family style dinner. After Dinner your family will depart. The camp will end at 11:00 AM on Wednesday. The camp will be facilitated by Fr. Aaron Brodeski, Director of Vocations for the Diocese of Rockford. We will also have most of our seminarians, other priests, religious brothers and dads who will help chaperone. In the past these camps have been lots of fun and very informative. Though one of the main goals is to introduce the campers more fully to the vocations of priesthood and religious life, they are not exclusively for those who believe this is the vocation they are called to. Anyone is welcome who is looking for a fun and faith filled time and is also open to learning about these awesome vocations. If you have any questions or want more specific information, please don't hesitate to call Fr. Aaron or our secretary at the Vocation Office for the Diocese of Rockford at (815) 399-4300 ext. 387. You can also print out registration and permission forms on this web site and view videos and pictures from past camps We hope to see you this summer!
