Vocation Story

I began feeling a call to the priesthood at a young age and often would come home from Sunday Mass inspired to get out my missal and "play Mass" in the living room.

In high school I joined a vocational discernment group and the call grew somewhat stronger, however I wanted to go to college first and take some time to try a "normal life." While at the University of Illinois I obtained a spiritual director and discerned that I should enter the seminary. I entered IHM college seminary in Winona, MN and a year later moved to St. Gregory the Great college seminary in Lincoln, NE. After completing my bachelors degree in philosophy I graduated and entered Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis. At Kenrick I have been working towards a Masters Degree in Divinity and a Master of Arts Degree in Theology (specializing in moral theology).
